This Windows operated terminal with 1D laser scanner is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi interfaced and Cisco CCX compliant for seamless integration of barcode based data capture into your mobile business.
A new addition to the successful H series, H-15 is a pocket sized mobile computer, designed for single handed operation, with excellent ergonomics and a very high specification.
Built to IP-54 specification and with a drop resistance of 1.5 metres onto concrete, the H-15 can be used in a vast number of applications, from in store to in warehouse and even outside.
The H-15 packs so much into its compact dimensions
Windows CE.net 5.0 running on an Intel PXA-270 microprocessor. Industry standard architecture for ease of programming and reliable operation. A high performance Opticon laser bar code scan engine for excellent reading results.
Massive onboard memory 256MB FlashROM and 64MB FlashRAM PLUS an onboard micro-SD slot. Integrated Bluetooth 2.0 and Cisco CCX v4 compatible Wi-Fi plus USB via cradle allow the H-15 access to virtually any infrastructure.
A 2.4 inch colour touch screen display provides additional possibilities to interact with the user.
Uptime particularly when using WiFi communication is the enemy of most small Windows-based mobile computers. Opticon has equipped the H-15 with a 1880mAh Li-Ion battery pack to maximise the operational effectiveness of the device in a scan and WiFi intensive environment.
With Wi-Fi enabled and scanning bar codes at 1 every 5 seconds the H-15 keeps working for an incredible 8 hours and with the ability to charge a spare battery in the charging cradle, multi-shift operation is assured.

Data Collection Device
A high performance laser scanner providing a fast and accurate scan, combined with a simple numeric keypad layout for multiple entry options resulting in a reliable tool in data collection. The 64 MB on-board memory can be expanded by an user accessible SD card.
Efficient Mobile Business
Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 NET running on an Intel microprocessor drives the H15. Your workforce will have on-demand access to pre-loaded applications at any physical location.
Three interfaces for Data Access
The terminal can transmit data in multiple ways. Use the Bluetooth interface to connect to one of widely available Bluetooth devices. Connection to local area networks is provided by the Cisco CCX compatible Wireless-LAN interface (IEE 802.11b/g). Batch transmission is supported by the base connectors and the optional available dedicated USB communication station.
Durable and rugged construction
The housing of this lightweight terminal is sealed to IP 54 standards and withstands multiple drops up to 1.5 metres (5 feet) onto concrete, holding up well in environments with versatile demands.
