The latest edition to the popular PowerScan series the PowerScan 7100 is an affordable model that combines the best features and performance into a single unit. The PowerScan 7100 is a lightweight and compact suitable for intensive scanning in industrial environments.

The PowerScan 7100 is ideal for intensive scanning by featuring several key technologies into one unit. Reading barcodes is more intuitive with an unsurpassed depth of field with a scanning range of contact to 3 m coupled with a fast processor able to read at rates up to 390 scans per second. An optional integrated laser aiming system helps ensure a more precise read with every scan.

The PowerScan 7100 also provides invaluable feedback to the user with the patented ‘Green Spot’ system, LED feedback on the back of the unit and an audible beeper. Together these make scanning with this model reliable, fast and more versatile than many other models on the market.

When working in an industrial environment you want a device that combines a compact design with durable build quality. Such as the over-moulded rubber covers on all the drop contact points, allowing the PowerScan 7100 to survive a 2 metre drop onto concrete and be fully functional.

Awarded with an industry leading IP65 rating the PowerScan 7100 is completely dust tight and able to withstand being sprayed with water.

For added mobility the PowerScan 7100 is also available with Bluetooth connectivity, giving an impressive range of 100 metres from the base station. Both models feature the same wired connections available in two configurations: the standard config includes RS-232, Keyboard Wedge and USB: the optional config includes RS-232, IBM46XX and USB.

The PowerScan 7100 comes with a 3 year factory warranty.
