High Performance Printing
Printing is fast with superb clarity due to a floating print head mechanism that also reduces friction. The high resolution of 305 dpi and flat paper path guarantees superb print quality. Extremely fast processing and large internal memory on both the B-SX6 and B-SX8 makes them an ideal choice for heavy duty requirements.

Reliability and Maintenance
The design is a field-proven heavy-duty steel cabinet with a sturdy inner mechanism to ensure reliability. Networking controls provide real-time alerts of problems, with instructions on how to resolve it, as well as live status information for each printer connected to a network.

Connectivity Options
B-SX6 and B-SX8 prove a reliable investment being designed with the latest interfaces such as USB 2.0 and 10/100 BASE Ethernet built-in as standard. Optional expansion includes Wireless LAN with the benefits of 802.11g range and speeds, with the latest security protocols keeping data safe. RFID is a major new development in barcode label printing and the B-SX6 & B-SX8 can be upgraded to allow direct tag inlay coding at UHF and HF frequencies (requires RFID Module).

Model Differences
The B-SX6 has a maximum print width of 171 mm, whereas the B-SX8 has a maximum print width of 213 mm. The B-SX8 has the Ribbon Save Module fitted as standard.

Warranty & Services

The Toshiba B-SX6 and B-SX8 comes with the standard Printer Warranty of 3 months on-site and 21 months Return to Base service. The thermal Print Head Warranty is 6 months or 50 km, whichever is sooner. These can be extended from 1 year up to a 5 year warranty. Other service options include Contract Services and Ad-hoc Services.
