Toshiba AG5 Wax / Resin

The AG5 is a new generation wax resin for edge and near-edge printers. It has been adapted to cope with the high speeds required in today’s flexible packaging market, although in our opinion is not as robust as the AG2 which is now approximately the same price.

Printing on to a wide range of receiving materials, including Tyvek®, it offers a blackness of 1.8 ODR and will withstand heat temperatures up to 100ºC (212ºF). The back coating offers exceptional printhead protection and will prevent static build up and clogging.

On the Crockmeter test the AG5 has no damage to the printout after 200 runs, at a pressure of 680 g/cm² load.
