DataGuard was developed from the ground up focusing on how to make label printing easier and more secure. Using a graphical interface that is used solely on the task of printing labels we feel we have achieved this. Everything about DataGuard is easy with menus and options displayed in plain English to make label printing as intuitive as possible.

Find labels quicker by filtering.

To print a label previously required you to select a label design from a list on your computer. Great if the list was short but when you have many products and categories each with separate label designs, choosing the right one gets tricky.

DataGuard uses a filtering process that searches the product database for you. It all begins by selecting your customer—usually a supermarket—all the way through to the product line. Only relevant and active product lines are displayed making it easy to find the right label.

Always print the right date.

Printing the correct date is vital not only as it is often a legal requirement but also because it creates waste in both materials and time to put right.

In DataGuard all shelf life dates—Display until, Best before and Use by—are calculated automatically based on the date the goods are to be delivered to a depot. Ensuring the correct date becomes a simple click and not a chore.

DataGuard further ensures that the correct dates are to be printed by confirming the depot delivery date before proceeding to preview and print.
