Description

Toshiba has built a reputation in reducing the total cost of ownership on any of its products and the B-EX6 continues this with low energy use, ribbon save technology and user replaceable print heads. This printer model unit is the direct replacement for the B-SX6 and the ever popular B-SX5 and indeed is “Hot Swappable” for either unit. The B-EX6-T1-TS12 uses the same ribbon as the B-SX5 plus added wider sizes and will utilise either B-SX5 or B-SX6 drivers for immediate swap out capability.

Heavy Duty ROTARY Cutter Unit

The B-EX6T1 now has a Rotary Cutter Option offering time savings of up to 75% over the medium duty Disc Cutter.

Medium Duty DISC Cutter Unit

The B-EX6T1 has a cutter unit that implements a disc guillotine system. This design gives a clean and accurate cut whilst keeping its profile and noise levels minimal.
Initial experience with this model cutter type has been fantastic and ultra reliable.

Change Your Own Print Heads Without an Engineer

Snap-in printhead and platen rollers allow you to perform routine maintenance without the need for a service engineer saving both time and money. Hinged printhead block provides access to the feed path for easy cleaning, maintenance or just to remove a jammed label. Automatic printhead detection means the B-EX6 will always use the right settings without the need to re-configure each time.

Compatible with Zebra ZPL II

Advanced emulation technology enables the B-EX6 printer to work with ZPL II® data streams with no software changes required.

Connect with USB or Ethernet Built-in

The B-EX6 is shipped with USB 2.0 and Ethernet LAN as standard to provide fast connections to your PC or network. Options include serial and parallel ports to enable backwards compatibility and Wi-Fi for wireless connection to your network.

Re-designed and improved LCD display and printer menu

The new interface greatly improves the internal printer menu, making it easier than ever to adjust settings and troubleshoot common issues. New features include simple LAN set-up and IP address display and a new graphical sensor threshold setting.

Limited Warranty and Service

The Toshiba B-EX6T1 printer is warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for one year from date of shipment. The print head has a separate warranty of 100 km or 6 months, whichever is sooner.

Purchase a Service Contract to enhance the standard warranty up to five years for your B-EX6T1.
